Construction Information
Chair frames are manufactured of European beech, a grade A hardwood that is stronger than oak or maple in most every respect. It also offers superior color clarity.
Constructed in Grand Rapids, Michigan
Mortise-and-tenon construction maximizes joint strength.
Back leg thru-bolts add strength and are camoflaged with a matching grain plug.
Corner blocks are glued, screwed and lag screw bolted at a mitred angle for exceptional strength and longevity.
Barstool stretchers are toenail screwed, eliminating the need for unsightly metal brackets.
Steel seat tabs.
Hand sanded and stained.
Upholstered seats have hand sewn and fit fabrics over high resilience foam to ensure comfort, appearance and durability.
Optional wood seats are made of 1" thick saddled ply.
Wood seating comes standard with metal carpet glides.
